SAP appoints local channel partner

ENTERPRISESAP LTD has been appointed local channel partner for German business software giant SAP. It has been tasked with the marketing and installation of Business One, SAP's business management software solution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

A 50:50 joint venture between the Forestals Group and Infomate Ltd, enterpriseSAP Ltd is chaired by Tancred Tabone. Joseph Sultana, managing director, will be responsible for operations, Dr John Abela is technical director, and Etienne Borg Cardona finance director.

"The team will focus on maximising the benefits of the SAP Business One solution, particularly in the manufacturing, distribution, retain and company financials arena," the enterpriseSAP said in a statement on Wednesday.

Mr Sultana described Business One as "a unique software solution" for the Maltese business community. It is "unique in functionality and also unique in pricing".

He is confident that the price versus functionality on offer is "just right" for the Maltese market. "In addition, we will be having some exciting offers to early adopters of SAP Business One," he added.

The software suite gives SMEs the ability to manage critical business operations with a single solution. It gives seamless integration with Microsoft Excel and Outlook for ease of use and increased productivity.

Business One also provides users with advanced reporting, access to critical data and the ability to manage events in real time. Integrated customer relationship management (CRM) and business management features ensure seamless interaction and full managerial control across sales, service and all other areas of the business.
