Malta coach Devis Mangia is set to ring the changes for this evening’s World Cup qualifier against Slovenia, with five players likely to be giving the nod to start in Ljubljana, the Times of Malta can reveal.

The national team is heading into the match in high spirits following their impressive 3-0 win over Cyprus at the National Stadium that lifted the team on the four-point mark in Group H, level with the same Slovenians.

On Friday, Mangia, the Malta national teams’ head coach, had hinted that he could be set to make a few changes from the team that performed so well against the Cypriots and it looks like the Italian coach could draft in fresh energy for Saturday’s match.
