Steve Schembri is the winner of Miles Express Division One player of the month for December, the Malta Basketball Association announced.

Last month, the Luxol player helped his team reach the MBA Shield final and strenghtened their grip on second place in the Gatorade League, conceding only one defeat. Schembri scored 66 points, including 10 three-pointers.

He is the league's second best assist man with a total of 54, averaging 3.86 assists per game.
