Scheme to assist companies conduct energy audits

Malta Enterprise is embarking on a scheme to help companies carry out energy audits to identify energy-saving opportunities.

This scheme aims not only to help local enterprises adopt energy conservation measures, and become more environmentally compliant, but also help bring about reductions in their operating costs. With the recent creation of an environment unit within Malta Enterprise, the scheme was broadened to include advisers in the field of energy conservation.

This incentive can be a first step towards submitting applications for the upcoming energy grants, which will be launched in the coming weeks. These funds will be part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
