I refer to the letter by Maria Borg (January 26) who, it seems, does not live in Malta. How can you have seat belts on school vans when these are allowed by the government to seat three children to every two seats? One wonders how parents do not rise...

I refer to the letter by Maria Borg (January 26) who, it seems, does not live in Malta. How can you have seat belts on school vans when these are allowed by the government to seat three children to every two seats?

One wonders how parents do not rise against this dangerous practice which is being allowed at the risk of having an accident with fatalities, knowing how these people drive during school hours to manage as many contracts as possible.

Minister Censu Galea should explain.
