Let me warn Mr Sayers, however, that he is treading on very unfamiliar ground. Don't be carried away with the sunshine and the first impression of the openness of the people. The only science that can flourish here is the one and only science of piracy. Go on, keep shooting flamingoes. Go ahead, gobble up the remaining precious land for golf and concrete. Skiving, inefficiency and negligence at the place of work, especially in government departments are the norm, and if you live an honest life they will label you a fool.
