Misrah Lourdes in San Gwann was today transformed into a science laboratory with interactive science exhibits and educational stands in the first in a series of six science in the community festivals being held throughout the year.

The festival was organised by the Malta Council for Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Resources Ministry.

The event forms part of a larger EU-funded Science Popularisation Campaign that kicked off in November with a science festival at the University of Malta.
