In pictures: Scorpions thrill thousands at MFCC

German rock legends perform in Ta' Qali to a crowd of all ages

More than 7,000 people rocked out to Scorpions on Tuesday night, as the German rock stars performed at Ta' Qali's MFCC.

The iconic band behind hits like Wind of Change and Rock You Like a Hurricane thrilled a crowd of all ages with an 18-song set list that left people hoarse and exhilarated.

Now in their fifth decade of performing, the Scorpions have continued to draw large crowds wherever they perform. In an interview last month, guitarist Rudolf Schenker emphasised that point, saying "we now have three generations in front of the stage."

The evening began with a performance by supporting act Upper Lip.
