SDM elects new executive committee for 2025/2026 term

Committed to upholding values of democracy, solidarity and social justice

SDM Studenti Demokristjani Maltin ­– has recently elected its new executive committee for the 2025/2026 term, marking the beginning of a renewed mandate focused on student representation, social responsibility and active engagement within Maltese educational institutions.

The newly elected executive committee is made up of president Nedved Refalo, vice president Leon Briffa, secretary general Ruslana Briffa, financial officer Trissiane Attard, human resources officer Zane Borg, social policy officer Carla Magrin, University coordinator Jaedon Lee Zammit, media officer Luke Buttigieg, events officer Karol Buttigieg, international officer Faye Saliba and Junior College coordinators Carl Betts and Niki Runza.

SDM extends its gratitude to the outgoing executive committee for their dedication and service, and looks forward to building upon their work in the coming term. The newly elected team is committed to upholding SDM’s values of democracy, solidarity and social justice, while continuing to represent and empower students across Malta.
