The Malta U-19 national team suffered their second defeat in the UEFA Mini-Tournament, losing 2-1 to hosts Slovakia yesterday.

Viskup and Jendrisek grabbed Slovakia's goals while Hibernians forward Andre Schembri was on the mark for the Maltese.

Mark Miller's team, who lost their opening match 1-0 against Lithuania on Monday, face Georgia in their final match tomorrow.

Yesterday, the Georgians failed to build on their 4-2 victory over Slovakia in their opening match, losing to Lithuania by 3-2.

MFA suspensions

Three Premier League players were yesterday handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commission.

Pietà duo Anatole Debono and Pierre Aquilina and Msida goalkeeper Omar Borg will all skip their respective team's next league match.
