Tarxien Rainbows yesterday completed a memorable double after they beat Sirens 4-1 in the Division II/III Knock-out final played at the Centenary Stadium. Ludvig Bartolo put the Rainbows ahead after only seven minutes while Simon Shead doubled his team's tally just before the break. Gordon Chetcuti pulled one goal for Sirens two minutes later but Shead restored his team's two goal advantage in the 52nd minute with his 31st goal of the season. Igor Stefanovic netted Tarxien's fourth goal nine minutes from time to wrap up a memorable campaign. At the end of the match MFA vice-president Carmel Bartolo presented the winners' trophy to Tarxien skipper Stefanovic.
