The Department of Chemistry of the University of Malta is holding the Second National Chemistry Symposium on Tuesday at 5.15 p.m. at Erin Serracino Inglott Hall, Tal-Qroqq campus. It will include a number of brief oral presentations outlining the results of original research work carried out in Department of Chemistry over the past few years by undergraduate and postgraduate students and two keynote presentations given by distinguished guest lecturers.

The National Chemistry Symposia provide a unique opportunity for all chemists, especially younger local chemists to publicly present their work, and is the only gathering of its kind where the general public and particularly those working in chemistry can meet together and discover what is going on in the subject in Malta and elsewhere.

To register for the symposium visit http://home.um.edu.mt/ncs or phone 2340-2275. For further information visit the Website http://home.um.edu.mt/ncs or contact Dr Joseph N. Grima or Dr Emmanuel Sinagra at the Department of Chemistry tel: 2340-2274/5 or 2340 2396; e-mail: ncs@um.edu.mt.

The main sponsors of this event are the University of Malta and Pharmamed.
