Selling drugs

I refer to Karl Pace's letter (August 23) in which he agreed in principle to what I said in my letter of August 12 regarding lethal substances (alcohol, cigarettes and other drugs).

But I would like to point out that I do not wish drugs to be sold off the counter, especially in the extravagant selfish way the government allows the sale of cigarettes and alcohol.

I wrote in my letter as follows: drugs may one day be licensed by the authorities in a very strict way and sold accordingly and in moderation through government clinics under the supervision of a medical and police staff to registered persons on a weekly basis. This way of sale is different to the present sale of alcohol and cigarettes.
