Intellectual property rights

Michelle Bonello from the Industrial Property Registrations Directorate will give an overview of national and international legislation on patents and copyright tomorrow at 5.30 p.m. in the Common Room, Students' House, on campus.

These two topics are of direct relevance to postgraduate students, particularly those engaged on research-based Master's and doctoral programmes where considerable intellectual property may be generated.

The presentation is the first session of a University training programme to help its postgraduate students further develop their professional and research skills and ensure they can be applied in academic, research and work-related contexts.
