Seminary students visit Victoria council

Visit forms part of project to give students deeper understanding of the city’s cultural and civic life

Victoria local council welcomed a group of Sacred Heart minor seminary Form 2 students, who participated in a series of discussions held at the Banca Giuratale, the Astra Theatre and the Aurora Theatre.

During these meetings, a number of topics were explored, including Victoria as a European Capital of Culture, volunteering, the role and responsibilities of the local council, the operation and management of theatres, and the contribution of band clubs to community life.

The project is being carried out through a collaboration between the seminary, the Victoria council and the Gozo Region.

It offers students a unique opportunity to experience different aspects of Gozo’s capital city first-hand, while gaining a deeper understanding of its cultural and civic life.
