Eighteen months have passed since part of Senglea marina was damaged in stormy weather. Yet the 'bombed' site has not been repaired. Summer is now with us and still a large part of this stretch of land is obstructing a nice walk by the sea.

Very recently similar damaged was caused at Wied iz-Zurrieq. Wonder of wonders, this damage was quickly repaired. Why the difference between Senglea and Wied Iz-Zurrieq? Could it be that the Minister of Works, or whatever he is called nowadays, comes from the Zurrieq area and not from our district? Looks like it!
