The Shindo Ryu Shotokan Karate-Do Association recently held a two-day seminar which was conducted by Sensei Charles Gidley (6th Dan) and his assistant at the British Shotokan Kyogi, Sensei Steve Mason (4th Dan).

After a series of high level Katas and Bunkai, which also saw the participation of UK martial artists, Sensei Gidley graded Adrian Grima (3rd Dan), David Cassar (2nd Dan), Reuben Sammut (2nd Dan), Ivan Frendo (1st Dan) and Frank Bonello (1st Dan).

Chief Instructor at Shindo Ryu Shotokan Karate-Do Association Mike DeBarro was graded 4th Dan.

The seminar was also attended by MTKF Sensei Dario Chircop and Sensei Chris Galea from SKSM as well as top association officials Sensei Alfred Cassar and Sensei Jairzinho Zammit.
