A Libyan man, 28, was seriously injured when he lost control of his car and crashed into a lamp post yesterday, police said.

The accident took place at 3.30 p.m. near Torri Mamo on the Zejtun to Marsascala road.

The man was driving a Mazda 323.

Enemalta staff were called in to remove the danger caused by a severed high tension power line.
