The police arrested seven persons and seized 179 ecstasy pills and cocaine and cannabis in searches in Bugibba and Paceville.

The police said the suspects held on Friday and Saturday included a 29-year-old Libyan residing in Bugibba and a 17-year-old lad from Zabbar, found in possession of cannabis and ecstasy respectively.

A man, 24, arrested was found in possession of more than 55 pills.
