Radisson Seven Seas` newest ship, the Seven Seas Mariner made a brief call in Grand Harbour yesterday as part of its maiden voyage.
Mediterranean Trading Shipping Co Ltd, the ship`s local agent, said the ship is the latest addition to a number of luxury cruise liners managed by the Vships Group.
The 48,075 gross ton vessel is 187 metres long and can accommodate 769 passengers.
The Seven Seas Mariner arrived from Taormina at 8 a.m. and sailed in the afternoon for Sorrento.
On board it had over 500 passengers, mainly Americans, who are on a Mediterranean cruise.
The Seven Seas Mariner, owned by the Radisson Seven Seas Cruises of America and cruising under the French flag, will be making other calls to Malta this season. She has a total of 700 luxury all-balconied suites and a crew of 445.
