Two young women who shoplifted from a clothes shop in Naxxar Road were spotted by a man who called the police and followed them until arrests were made.

The shoplifters, aged 17 and 22, both from Qormi, had earlier also stolen from another shop.

They are to be arraigned in the coming days.
