Singer Fabrizio Faniello tonight publicly admitted he had a drug problem from which he is still recovering.

Speaking on Xarabank which is tonight discussing drugs, the 33-year-old singer said he has spent time in a Caritas shelter.

In a one to one interview with programme presenter Peppi Azzopardi, Mr Faniello urged people who had problems to acknowledge they did and reach out for help.

He then sang a song which he said he wrote during this difficult period in his life.
