Will the new Constitution change the current euro-jargon on the various types of EU laws?

Yes. The Constitution for Europe introduces a simpler version of the legal instruments to be used by the European Union. There are legislative acts in the form of either European Laws or European Framework Laws; non-legislative acts in the form of European Regulations or European Decisions; and two opinion instruments in the form of Recommendations or Opinions.
