The annual rate of inflation as measured by the Retail Price Index (RPI) was 0.66%, down from 0.83% per cent in April, according to the National Statistics Office.

The NSO said the 12-month moving average rate for May stood at 1.3%.

The largest upward impact on annual inflation was measured in the food index, while the largest downward impact was recorded in the recreation and culture index.
