Smoking days

Till now the smoking ban in public places has worked but only due to the fact that the weather is still good and smokers can easily go outside and smoke. But wait till the weather finally changes and restaurant and bar owners start really feeling the impact of this ban. I have a very easy suggestion which I think will make everyone happy, being the smokers, non-smokers, restaurant and bar owners and even the government. Do smoking days and non-smoking days on odd and even days.

For example, smoking on odd days and non-smoking on even days of the month.

In this way smokers and non-smokers have a choice and can also plan with no one being left out. It is not as if smoking is against the law. If it were then ban smoking completely but as smoking is a big revenue earner for the government smokers should have a bit of say in all this.

Also, the government can impose on bar and restaurant owners to have a non-smoking area even when it's a smoking day but it does not have to be enclosed in an aquarium type of compartment. I think this idea can work out and everyone will be happy.
