FENECH AZZOPARDI. On August 24, at Karin Grech Hospital Maternity Wing, to Marquita née Camilleri and Cedric, God's precious gift of a first born son - Gabriel. Praise be to God and our Lady. Special thanks to all dedicated staff at the maternity wards.
Obituary
BONELLO. On August 25, PAUL, formerly of St Julian's, residing at San Gwann, aged 45, passed peacefully away after a short illness bravely borne, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. "A Golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best."
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Patricia née Heragthy, his loving children William and his fiancée Dale, Leona and Malcolm, his brothers, sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 8.30 a.m. at San Gwann parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
CARUANA - FRANK, aged 67. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Ophelia, his daughter Michelle, wife of Mario Gatt, their children Mariah and Miguel and his girlfriend Mandy, his son Lucio and his wife Rita, his brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral took place yesterday.
GRECH. On August 22, LILY, aged 84. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her daughter Catherine and her husband Jeff, her granddaughter Kristin and her husband Joe Alcayaga and her great-granddaughters Allyson and Abbygale of America, her sisters Agnes and Bice, her brother Daniel and his wife Vera, all her nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 8.15 a.m. for St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be very much appreciated.

She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Frans and his wife Mary, Charles and his wife Maria, Mary and her husband Michael Borg, Luckie and her husband Glynn Johnson, Joyce and her husband Charles Grech, Theresa and Rita, her dear grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 4 p.m. at Our Lady of the Annunciation parish church, Tarxien, followed by interment at the Resurrection Cemetery, Tarxien. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

Anniversary Mass
The Immaculate Conception Musical Society of Hamrun will be holding a thanksgiving Mass on the occasion of its 25th anniversary at the Immaculate Conception Church, Hamrun at 9.30 a.m. on Sunday. President Emeritus Guido de Marco will unveil a commemorative plaque to mark the event.
'A' students
Six Maltese students obtained excellent results, ranging from distinction to high merit A, in a diploma course in hotel operations and management.
The candidates are Daniel Vella, Jesmond Vella, Adrian Spiteri, Sharon Gauci, Darren Caruana and Antoine Bezzina. The course included lectures, assignments and a final examination corrected by Cambridge International College.
This diploma is organised by Future Focus Ltd but tuition, examinations and certification are all issued through Cambridge International College, making the diploma internationally recognised.

Drama in aid of girl
Youth Alive, made up of a group of volunteers, is working on bringing the performing arts under one roof to raise money for two-year-old Maria Grazia Attard, a child with a mental disability who needs to travel to England for medical tests.
Youth Alive's Drama Fest will take place at Bay Street on September 4 and 5 between 4 - 10.30 p.m. where the public can donate money.
