Appreciation - Angie Zammit Tabona

Vicki Curmi writes:

Death snatches away people who are precious to us, leaving us to mourn, grieve and wonder - it removes the light that before shone so freely on our lives. Angie is no longer with us, but her memory will linger with us forever.

I got to know Angie over 30 years ago when she asked me to help out with horse-riding for the disabled.

Angie was unique and an outstanding personality; very caring and hospitable. Her house was always full of friends, relatives and children. She could cook a delicious meal for 12 or more in no time at all, plus hosting the many polo functions.

As usual, the food was abundant and superb! She was warm, kind-hearted and full of fun. She adored her family and the mini zoo around her! We have a lot of happy memories of days boating with our children. These outings were unforgettable!

Only quite recently Angie was in good form - she was home with us and a few other friends - she looked lovely and bubbly and that is the way I will remember her. My husband Alfred and our four children join me in conveying our sincere condolences to Barty, Shara, Ben and the rest of her family.
