Appreciation: Raymond Attard

Joe Azzopardi Ex M.P.E. executive writes:

Raymond Attard left so suddenly last Saturday at the young age of 45 years. Although he was no athlete, his energy and devotion for his work knew no bounds and was considered a pillar in both companies he served. He was a professional, a diligent businessman well respected in the business circle also by his friends, peers and employees.

"Is-Sur Attard", as he was widely known, seemed always to be one step ahead of things, improving methods in the running of the business and always ready to implement new ideas offered by his understudies.

The funeral Mass service was heavily attended by family and friends who wanted to pay their last respects and to express solidarity with the Attard family at this sad moment.

All of us who knew and worked with him know they have lost a friend who, as aptly put by his brother Joe during the funeral service, always offered his mind and heart without hesitation.

Working with Ray for 20 years I know and I can vouch for that.

Ray, may the Lord grant you eternal rest and may you rest in peace.
