Obituary
BALDACCHINO. On December 28, at St Luke's Hospital, ANTONIA née Zammit, widow of George, passed peacefully away after a short illness at the venerable age of 92, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Carmen and her husband Henry Scicluna, Rose and her husband Ronnie Cauchi, her son John and his wife Antoinette, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 1.45 p.m. for St Paul's Shipwreck parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.15 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.
CAMILLERI. On December 26, Doris née Bartolo, aged 73, of Sliema, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Effie, her brother Lino and his wife Mary, her sister Mary and her husband Herbert Mifsud, Nellie, widow of her brother Josie, her sister-in-law May Mallia Pulvirenti, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to charitable institutions will be appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.
SULTANA. On December 28, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, THERESA, née Azzopardi, aged 91. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Doris and her husband Laurie Ghio, Margaret and her husband Paul Camilleri, Paul and his wife Veronica, Marlene and her husband Charles Demicoli, John and his wife Rosalie, grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Attard parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at the Attard cemetery. No flowers by request by donations to St Catherine's Home, Attard, will be appreciated. The family would like to thank the sisters and staff at St Catherine's Home. Lord grant her eternal rest.
TONNA. On December 20, in London, Norma née Sammut, aged 62, a most loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She leaves to morn her loss her beloved husband Joe, her seven children Iain and his wife Josianne, Alan and his wife Mariella, Karen and her husband Josef Mifsud Bonnici, Joanna and her husband Mark Chircop, Kevin and his wife Fleur, Niki and his wife Maria, and Debbie, her grandchildren Robert, Francesca, Rebecca, Luke, Sarah, Sean, Karl, Michaela, Michael, David, Petra and Ana, her sister Lila and her husband Simon Whitney-Long, and her sister-in-law Lina Dimech. - R.I.P. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at St Julian's parish church tomorrow at 8.15 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Mosta cemetery. Mdina Concert
Mdina local council will present its third Epiphany concert at the Aula Capitanalis of the Corte Capitanale, in Mdina on Saturday at 7 p.m.
Nadia, R. De Bono, violin, Mario Frendo, viola, Simon Abdilla Joslin, cello and Davinia Galea, harpsichord, will perform works by Albinoni, Corelli and Vivaldi, among others.

EU Vacancies
The translation directorate at the Court of Justice of the European Union is recruiting a number of temporary agents on a definite contract as lawyer linguists and secretaries.
Applicants for the post of temporary agent lawyer linguist should be in possession of a Maltese law degree. The successful candidate should know at least two current official languages of the European Union, preferably including French.
A temporary agent secretary must have successfully completed lower secondary education and/or a vocational college course and obtained a final certificate.

Funpark Raffle
One hundred Playmobil fans who won a Christmas raffle organised by Playmobil Funpark yesterday enjoyed breakfast with Santa Claus at the new park in Hal Far.
As in previous years, Santa and his elves saw all the children off at the door and presented each with a striking Playmobil memento.
Live Firing Practice
Firing practice by the Armed Forces will take place at Pembroke ranges on all working days in January starting from Friday, between 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. Vessels are to keep two miles off the Pembroke coast. Red warning flags will be hoisted at the limits of the ranges during practice.
Toys Galore
Father Christmas dropped in at church-run children's homes over yuletide, presenting toys to all the children.
The gesture was sponsored by the owners of Tal-Lira shops.
Blood Donation
The blood donation mobile unit will be at the following locations in Birkirkara: on Saturday near the old church and on Sunday near St Helen Basilica between 8.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.
