MELILLO. On November 25, at Karin Grech Hospital Maternity Wing, to Celia née Borg and Edward, God's precious gift of a first-born daughter - MICHAELA. Special thanks to the midwives, all the medical and operating theatre staff, and all the staff at the post-natal ward.

MIZZI. On December 1, at Karin Grech Hospital Maternity Wing, to Anna Maria née Caruana and Daren, God's precious gift of a daughter - CHRISTINE ANGÈLE, a most welcome sister to Therese Ann. Thanks be to God and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Thanks also to all the maternity staff for their care and dedication.

MOCK. On November 28, at Karin Grech Hospital Maternity Wing, to Josette and Billy, God's precious gift of a first-born son - ISAAC WILLIAM. Thanks be to Our Lady of Ta' Pinu and St Pio of Pietrelcina Special thanks to the excellent midwife, Claire Zerafa, for her kind attention.

Marriages

Dr PETER FSADNI, MD and Dr CLAUDIA CORDINA, MD
The marriage took place on Monday, December 8, at St Mary's parish church, Attard, between PETER, son of Mr and Carmel M. Fsadni, M.Sc., BA (Hons), B.Sc. (Hons), and Mrs Fsadni of Attard, and CLAUDIA, daughter of Mr and Mrs Victor M. Cordina of Zejtun. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Joseph Fsadni and Fr Gerald Montebello, MSSP. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr Mario Fsadni, B.Sc, C.Phys., and Ms Catherine Palmier Cecy. Ing. Andrew Fsadni, B.Eng. (Hons), carried out the duties of best man. Mr Renzo Cordina acted as usher. The bride was attended by Miss Antonella Cordina and Miss Mariosa Bonnici. Miss Rebecca Clark was flower-girl. A reception was held at Palazzo Parisio, Naxxar. The couple will be spending their honeymoon in the Far East.

Mr MATTHEW MIRABELLI and Miss ALEXIA AQUILINA
The marriage took place on Sunday, November 30, at the church of the Holy Cross, Floriana, between MATTHEW, son of Mr and Mrs Terence Mirabelli of Mosta, and ALEXIA, daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Aquilina of Ta' Xbiex. Fr Claude Portelli celebrated nuptial Mass. Mr Jason Aquilina and Mr David Montanaro Gauci witnessed the ceremony. Dr Conrad Cassar Torregiani was best man. Mrs Fiorella Pace and Miss Nicolette Mirabelli attended the bride. Mr Dale Ralston and Mr Neil Ralston were ushers. A reception was later held at Villa Arrigo, San Pawl tat-Targa.

Obituary

BERRY. On December 9, CATHERINE née Bonnici of Zejtun, aged 72. Greatly missed by her husband Clifford and children Marguarita, Jennifer and John. A wonderful, loving wife and mother. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother, sisters, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

CALIGARI. On December 13, Emanuel, aged 87, of Zabbar, ex-foreman at the Air Ministry, passed peacefully away conforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Wally and his wife Carmen, Victor and his wife Nathalie, Doris and her husband Paul Degabriele and Joan and her husband John Camilleri, his grandchildren Godwin and his wife, Audrey and her husband, Brandon and his fiancée, Maria, Sandro and his fiancée, Fabio and his wife, and Jonathan, his great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves Zejtun Home today at 2.45 p.m. for Zabbar Cemetery chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment.

GALEA. On December 12, Joseph, residing in Sliema, former lay administrator at Mount Carmel Hospital, widower of Rita, passed peacefully away. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Raymond and his wife Karen, Marthese and her fiancé Alex, Stephen and his fiancée Stephanie, his grandchildren Kelly, Shelly, Gemma and Sarah, his brother Lorry and sister Mary, his sister-in-law Jane, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

SCIBERRAS. On December 13, at St Luke's Hospital, Peter, aged 80, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Catherine, his children Carmen and her husband John Mamo, Victor and his wife Louise, Christopher and his wife Ingrid, and Louise and her husband Kenneth Pullicino, his grandchildren, his brothers Fr Anton, Joseph and Leone, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 7.45 a.m. for Paola parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Naxxar Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

Requiem Masses
