Requiem Masses
A Mass for the repose of the soul of DANIEL KRANTZ, a dear son, brother and friend, will be said tomorrow at 5 p.m. at St Bartholomew's parish church, Gharghur.
The 11.30 a.m. Mass being said next Sunday at St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of the soul of Dr ANTHONY (Ninì) LANFRANCO who passed away on October 13, 2003. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.

The Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Educational Research has published Vol.8 No.1 (2003) of the Mediterranean Journal of Educational Studies.
This is a special issue dedicated to learning in science in the Mediterranean region and is guest-edited by Constantinos P. Constantinou and Michalinos Zembylas from the University of Cyprus.

Managing Time
Malta University Services has announced a series of activities including a one-day seminar on managing time on November 20.
The one-day seminar will be led by Charles J. Falzon, senior lecturer in the Department of Management, and would help participants identify how they spend their and other people's time.
An Introduction to Painting in the Baroque Age is the theme of a six-session course being held every Wednesday starting next week.
The aim of the course, run in collaboration with the International Institute for Baroque Studies at the University of Malta, is to deliver a background knowledge of the historical development of art and achievements during the Baroque era.
The course is intended for those interested in broadening their knowledge in art and art history.
Another course for middle management on Managing for Success will be held in January.

French Lecture
The Alliance Francaise de Malte is hosting a lecture entitled Balade dans le monde de la fleur à parfum et du parfum by author Claude Rizzo at Casa Sir Luigi Preziosi, 108, St Thomas Street, Floriana, today at 6.30 p.m.
Mr Rizzo lives near Grasse, the scent capital of France, and has written books about the Maltese in Tunisia. Entrance is free.
Family Day
The Cana Movement's Gruppi Familji Nsara is organising a family day on Sunday at St Agatha College, in Rabat.
The day will start with Mass at 9.45 a.m. and activities will include scouting, a treasure hunt, races, football and other games.
There will also be a bring and buy sale and a police dog show.
