Obituary
CASSAR. On October 17, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, JOSEPHINE, widow of George passed peacefully away aged 93, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Deeply mourned by her children Lena and her husband Paul Muscat, George and his wife Anne Marie residing in Australia, Antoinette and her husband Victor Casha, Mary and her husband John Piscopo, her grandchildren Norman, Ian, Jason, Anabel, Edwin, Jeremy, Vanessa and Matthew, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

CURMI. On Friday, October 17, at her son's residence in Attard, MARIA CONCETTA of Qormi, widow of Benigno, aged 95, went to meet our Heavenly Father. She leaves to fondly remember her, her only son John (ex-proprietor, Tablet Stationery, Qormi) and his wife Doris, her grandchildren Patricia and her husband Charles Borg, Benjamin and his wife Marie, and Maria Dolores and her husband John Miller, residing in California, her great-grandchildren Rebecca and Gabrielle, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 3 p.m. at St George's parish church, Qormi, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
VELLA. On October 16, at his residence in Hamrun, ARTHUR, aged 63. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters Frederick and his wife Maria, Maria Theresa and her husband Francis Xavier Fenech, Dr Louis Vella, LLD and his wife Marisa, Mathilde and her husband Walter Simler, residing in Canada, and Josephine and her husband Sydney Cass, residing in England, their spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 1.45 p.m. for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated.

Traffic Re-Routing
Bulky equipment is being installed at St Luke's Hospital over the next few weeks to upgrade the magnetic resonance imaging equipment.
As it arrives at hospital on Monday afternoon, traffic there will be re-directed by security staff on site.
