CLAIRE and JAREK were married on Sunday, July 6, at the Sanctuary of il-Madonna tal-Herba, Birkirkara. The bride is the daughter of Ms Marika Cutajar of Fleur-de-Lys. The groom is the son of Mr Artur Morawski, Ph.D. and Dr Maria Morawska, MD, of Poland. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Charles Carabott. The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs Edith Ebejer, the bride's aunt, and Ing. Marek Morawski, M.Sc., the groom's brother. The bride was attended by Ms Germaine Costa, B.Ed. (Hons) a close friend. Mr Martin Cutajar, the bride's brother, carried out the duties of best man. The latter, and Mr Lukasz Morawski, the groom's brother, acted as ushers. A dinner reception was held afterwards at The Bastion Pool, Le Meridien Phoenicia, Floriana, for close relatives and friends. The couple honeymooned in Florida, USA, and cruising the Caribbean. May the Lord bless their union with a lifetime of love and happiness.

Obituary

BARTOLO. On August 1, 2003, EVA MARIA, aged 95, peacefully, much loved mother of Mary Anne, Beate, Hella Jean, Toraya and Ave Maria.
The funeral service will be held at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel today at 10 a.m. No flowers please but donations to the Friends of St Vincent de Paul, PO Box 66, Valletta.

GALEA. On July 31, at Boffa Hospital, WALTER, known as Wally, of Paola, aged 63, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers Edgar and his wife Doris, Henry known as Eric, and his wife Lora, residing in Naples, his nephews Adrian and his fiancée MaryAnne Lennox, Joseph and his wife Pauline, Jacqueline, Raniel and his wife Catherine, Ivan, cousins, other relatives and friends - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves Boffa Hospital today at 9.45 a.m. for St Anthony of Padova church, Ghajn Dwieli, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10.15 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

MIFSUD. On August 2, at St Vincent de Paul, Maria Stella, known as Mary, née Pace Ubaldini, aged 93, conforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters and brother, her nephews and nieces, among whom Miriam née Azzopardi and her husband Carmelo Torrisi and her son Mario, of Catania, Sicily. - R.I.P.
