The marriage took place on Saturday, June 14, at St Aloysius College church, Birkirkara, between PETER, son of Mr and Mrs Victor Borg of Balzan, and FELICITY, daughter of Mr and Mrs Felix Zahra of Fgura. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr David Cefai, SJ, and Fr Thomas Calleja, OFM Conv. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr Steven Borg, the groom's brother, and Dr Sylvann Aquilina Zahra, LL.D, M.Jur. (Oxon), the bride's sister. Mr John Busuttil, B.Educ. (Hons.), carried out the duties of best man. Janet Fenech, Laura and Cristina Aquilina were flower-girls, while Karl Fenech was pageboy. Mr Mark Fenech and Mr John Zahra, Dip. Soc. St. were ushers. A dinner reception was later held at the Bastion Pool, Le Meridien Phoenicia, Floriana.

The marriage took place on Sunday, June 29, at St Aloysius College church, Birkirkara, between MELCHIOR, son of Mr and Mrs Francis Frendo, and CLAUDINE, daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Cocks. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Karm Debattista, MSSP. Mr Jeffrey Cocks and Mrs Joyce Rapinett acted as witnesses. Mr Leonard Cocks and Mr Edmond Frendo carried out the duties of best men. The bride was attended by Mrs Louiselle Cocks as matron of honour, and Ms Sarah Mifsud as flower-girl. Mr Richard Cocks and Mr Clive Cocks acted as ushers. Mrs Maria Cocks helped with the planning of the wedding. A reception was held afterwards at the Olive Gardens, Mdina.

The marriage took place on Friday, June 27, at St Anne's parish church, Marsascala, between MARIO, son of Alfred Debattista and the late Joan, and ASTERIA, daughter of the Noble Emmanuele and Pauline dei Marchesi Testaferrata de Noto. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Jesmond Manicaro. The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs Nathalie Vella and Mrs Doreen DeLorenzo. Mr Anthony Sacco carried out the duties of best man. Ms Abigail Holland was maid of honour. Mariah and Diane Debattista and Naomi DeLorenzo were flower-girls. Mr James Vella and Mr Ian Vella acted as ushers. A reception was later held at Villa Mdina, Naxxar.

The marriage took place on Sunday morning, June 29, feast of St Peter and St Paul, at the chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, Floriana, between ROY and HELLA JEAN. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Joe Alessandro from the Floriana Capuchin Friary. The bride was attended by her four sisters who arrived specifically from Canada for the ceremony. A dinner reception was held in the evening at the Walter Scott roof terrace, Victoria Hotel, Sliema, for close friends and family.

Mr MARK ZAMMIT, B.Sc. (Hons.) Env. Planning and Miss ROMINA PACE, B.Comm. (Hons.)
The marriage took place on Sunday, June 29, at St Bartholomew parish church, Gharghur, between MARK, son of Mary Rose and Mario Zammit of Msida, and ROMINA, daughter of Melita and the late Paul Pace of Paola. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Canon Louis Suban. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Fleur Attard, Dip. Hotel Admin., a close friend, and Ing. Keith Zammit, B.Eng. (Hons.) Mech., the groom's brother. Mr Sylvio Farrugia, A&CE, carried out the duties of best man. The bride was attended by the groom's cousin, Ms Alison Camilleri. Joy Camilleri acted as flower-girl. A reception was later held at Villa Mdina, Naxxar. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Spain.

The marriage took place on July 5, 1964, at St Paul Shipwrecked collegiate, Valletta. Mgr Professor Amante Buontempo officiated. Congratulations to Mum and Dad from Louisienne, Joseph, Claudia and Stephen.

Obituary

Coleiro. On July 5, Paul, aged 61, of San Pawl tat-Targa, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maria, his children Louis and his wife Roberta, Kenneth and his wife Lucienne, his grandchildren Gabriella, Steven and Ryan, his mother Theresa, brothers and sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves his residence tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Naxxar parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetry.
No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.

CORDINA. On July 3, at Peel Memorial Hospital, Brampton, Canada, JOHN (Permanent Deacon), passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Rose née Vassallo, his sons Martin and Mark, their spouses, his grandchildren Anthony, Andrew and Ainslie, his sisters Rose and Amelia, nephews and nieces and his in-laws in Malta.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Duncan. On July 5, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, Mary née Chircop, aged 86, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Evelyn, Doris and her husband Sean Carroll, James Edward and his wife Josè, Andrew, Joyce wife of George Cardona Schranz, Norman and his wife Simone, Victor Busuttil widower of her daughter Rose, Sunny Tabone, widower of her daughter Lina, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
