Obituary

BOFFA. On June 22, at St Luke's Hospital, ANTHONY, aged 85, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mary née Gili, his son Joseph and his wife Carmen, his brother Paul of Australia, grand-child Elaine and husband Ludwig of America, great-grandson Raphael, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital at 9.15 a.m. tomorrow for the Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be appreciated.

MALLIA. On June 21, at St Luke's Hospital, CARMELA, aged 83, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Guza and her husband Joseph of America, Doris widow of Joe Frendo, Emmanuel and his wife Joan of the UK, Bernardette (k/a Diana), widow of Frederick Saccasan, Alfred Adela, widower of her sister Jane, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 9 a.m. at St Publius parish church, Floriana followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

MUSCAT. On June 15 in Milan, ELISEO, aged 53, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Nancy, his children Marisa, Audrey Ann and her fiancé Paul, his mother Carmena, his brothers and sisters and their families, including Fr Michael Farrugia O.C., his mother-in-law Guza, his brothers-in-law and their families, Mary and Carmelo Vella, his employees, clients, other relatives and friends.

SPITERI. On June 22, CARMEN, née Farrugia, of St Julian's (formerly of Paola), aged 77, passed peacefully away at St Luke's Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Paul, their daughter Claire and her husband Daniel Decelis, their children Kristie and David of Australia, her in-laws Frans and his wife Guza, Freddie and his wife Lucy, Nena, Marie and their families, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

Prayer Meeting

The Mary Queen of Peace prayer meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at 6 p.m. at St Joseph Institute, St Venera. The next prayer meeting will be held on Thursday, October 9. Fr Tonio Milanes, OP, will celebrate Mass.
