Obituary
ATTARD. On March 24, EMANUELA of Zebbug, aged 85, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Antonia, widow of Carmelo Ciantar, Filippa and her husband Toni Cassar, Stella and her husband Dr Carmelo Vassallo, her sons Carmelo and his wife Maria, Joe and his wife Ingard, residing in Australia, her grandchildren and their spouses, grand nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Philip's parish church, Zebbug, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Zebbug. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.
DEBONO. On March 26, at St Luke's Hospital, MARION née Preca, aged 63, passed peacefully away after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her devoted husband Joseph and her only son Victor, her brothers and sisters Amedeo Preca and his wife Connie, Anthony Preca and his wife Joyce, Eileen Darmanin and her husband John, Anna Buttigieg and her husband Anthony, her husband's sister Antoinette Bonello and her husband Angelo, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Helen's Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family vault at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
TEMPLE - Michael. Died suddenly on March 22 whilst on holiday in Capetown, South Africa. His cremation took place on March 26. Memorial services to be arranged in Durham City and Gozo.
Dearly missed and lovingly remembered by wife Ann, daughters Helen and Margaret, family and all his many friends.

Heritage at Amitex Fair
The Malta Tourism Authority's stand at the tenth edition of the Amitex Fair will be focusing on issues such as heritage, underwater diving, countryside walks and careers in tourism.
The fair is organised by Air Malta and is taking place at the Trade Fair Grounds in Naxxar between tomorrow and Sunday.
There will be animation for children on Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at noon and 6 p.m. dealing with issues such as the environment and the conservation of heritage, in line with the MTA's efforts to increase the awareness of tourism-related topics, particularly among the younger generation.
Conference On Exams
The Association of Schools' Councils is holding a one-day national conference on exams and assessments at the New Dolmen Hotel, in Qawra on Saturday from 8.30 a.m.

Live Firing Practice
There will be live firing practice by the Armed Forces of Malta at the Pembroke range throughout April, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays. Red flags are flown from the limit of the range concerned. Seacraft are to keep two miles from the coast during these times.
Summer Time
Summer time in Malta and Europe will commence at 2 a.m. on Sunday, and will end at 3 a.m. of the last Sunday in October. Malta summer time is two hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.

Competition Postponed
The "Speak your mind" competition for sixth forms, due to be held by the British Culture Association at St James Cavalier, in Valletta on April 3, has been postponed. A new date for the competition is to be announced.
