Golden Wedding

The marriage between Vincent and Rosemarie took place on Sunday, February 8, 1953 at the Gozo Cathedral, Victoria. Fr Edmondo Tabone and Fr Edgardo Tabone, SJ, officiated. Obituary

PACE ASCIAK. On February 7, LOUIS, passed away peacefully at St Luke's Hospital comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Salvina née Frendo, his children Antoine Marcel and his wife Margaret, Natalie and her husband Dominic and Mariella and her husband George, his grandchildren Nigel and his wife Cynthia, Rachel, Ryan, Thea, Malvin, Geordie and his great-grandchildren Angelique and Veronique, other relatives and freinds. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. for Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10 a.m. followed by interment in the family vault. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be greatly appreciated.

O'NEILL. On February 5, in Toronto, Canada, MARY, widow of Charles, aged 91. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Rose Abela and family in Texas, USA, Albert and William O'Neill and families living in Toronto, Canada, Louise McGovern and family living in UK. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

ETC Open Day

The Public Cleansing Cooperative requires full- and part-time workers. An open day is therefore being organised by the Employment and Training Corporation in Zachary Street, Valletta, on February 13 from 8.30 a.m. to noon and from 2 to 4 p.m. for those interested. No qualifications are necessary.

Temporary Move

The bus terminus at Saqqajja, in Rabat will be moved to Saqqajja Hill tomorrow from 9.30 to 11 a.m., because of a function being held at the terminus, the Malta Transport Authority said yesterday.

Restoration Lecture

Sante Guido and Keith Sciberras will be giving a public lecture at the Italian Cultural Institute, in Valletta, on Thursday at 6 p.m. on the subject: I lavori di restauro nella Concattedrale di San Giovanni nell'ambito del IV Protocollo Finanziario Italomaltese: la Gloria e l'Altare.

Theresa Vella, senior principal officer at the National Museum of Fine Arts, will give an introduction on the subject: "The conservation project at St John's : problems and solutions".

Lights Off

The Paceville traffic lights will be switched off tomorrow between 8 a.m. and noon for maintenance, the Malta Transport Authority said.
