Heartfelt thanks go to the doctors, midwives and all the staff at Capua Palace Hospital maternity ward for making the birth of our son and after care in hospital a wonderful experience.

Requiem Masses

On the initiative of the Council of the Anglo Maltese League, a Mass for the repose of the souls of deceased members will be said tomorrow at 6 p.m. at St James church, Merchants Street (corner with Melita Street), Valletta. Members and relatives are requested to attend.

A Mass for the repose of the souls of parishioners who died during the past twelve months is being said tomorrow at 6.30 p.m. at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. All relatives and friends are invited to attend and pray for the dearly departed.

Evening of Prayer

The International Movement of Prayer Blessed Pope John XXIII is holding an evening of prayer for Peace and New Evangelisation of the World in the church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Floriana, today at 5.30 p.m., and not at 6.30 p.m. as originally announced.

Mission Funs Mass

A Mass for the repose of the souls of late benefactors of the Mission Fund is being celebrated in Our Lady of Lourdes chapel, Floriana, on November 29 at 6.30 p.m. All names will be offered on the altar and special prayers will be said.

Farsons' donation

Farsons Group chief executive Louis Farrugia recently made a donation to the director of Church Homes, Fr Victor Zammit McKeon, representing money raised during Kinnie's 50th Anniversary celebrations.

Gospel Celebration

Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke will be the main speaker during a Gospel celebration at the Corradino Sports Pavilion on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, at 7.30 p.m.

Water Cuts
