Mr AIDAN MIFSUD, B.Sc.and Miss KRISTINE VIGER, BA Fine Arts
The marriage took place on Friday, September 6, at St Mary's parish church, Attard. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Italy and Portugal. They wish to thank Katherine, John, Shenda, Liam, Damian and Tami Mifsud, family, friends and overseas guests for helping make it a special day.

Mr MARK SCIBERRAS, B.Ed. (Hons)and Ms DORIS FENECH
The marriage took place on Saturday, August 24, at Tal-Mirakli chapel, Lija, between MARK, son of the late Joseph and Mrs Louise Sciberras of St Paul's Bay, and DORIS, daughter of Mr and Mrs Alfred Fenech of Sta Lucija. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Edgar Busuttil, SJ. Mr Clyde Sciberras and Mrs Rita Haber witnessed the ceremony. A cocktail reception followed by dinner was held at the Corinthia Palace Hotel, Attard.

Dr JAMES ROGER D. SMITH, BDS, and Miss SARAH JANE MIFSUD, BA, LL.B.
The marriage took place on Saturday, August 24, between ROGER, son of the Rev. Fr Colin Smith and Mrs Caroline Smith of York, and SARAH, daughter of Mr Ronald P. Mifsud, MD, FRCS (Orth.) and Mrs Joan Mifsud, B.Pharm. of Hagley, Worcestershire. The ceremony was celebrated at the RC Church of St Mary, Harvington, by Fr David Higham and the preacher was the father of the groom. Dr Anthony Charles and Mr David Jebb were the witnesses. The best man was Mr Bruce Gee. Bridesmaids were the Misses Caroline Atkinson, Irene Kaoullis and Charlotte Smith. Katerina Bard was the flower-girl. The ushers were Messrs Simon Mifsud, Andrew Bard, Steven Jones, Paul Dickson, Neil Gee and Shashi Mishra. The master of ceremonies was Dr Edward Smith. The reception and dinner were held in marquees in the gardens of the bride's family home. The couple are honeymooning in Santo Domingo.

Mr CHRIS VELLA LAURENTI and Miss CHARMAINE DEBONO
The marriage took place on Saturday, September 7, between CHRIS, son of Dr and Mrs Richard Vella Laurenti of Sliema, and CHARMAINE, daughter of Mr and Mrs Vincent Debono of Attard. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Claude Portelli at St Mary's parish church, Attard. Mr Nicholas Vella Laurenti and Mr Anthony Caruana Debono acted as witnesses. Three-year-old Nirelle Alakkad was flower-girl. A reception was held at Castello dei Baroni, Wardija. The couple are taking up residence in the UK.

Obituary

BUHAGIAR. On September 6, at St Luke's Hospital, LORENZA, née Pisani, widow of Guzeppi, aged 79, of Vittoriosa, residing in Qormi. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Antoinette and her husband George Sciberras, Emily and her husband Sebastian Fenech, Manuel and his wife Doris and Marvic and her husband Manuel Busuttil, her grandchildren Roderick and his wife Dorianne, Godfrey, Ingrid and Allistair, Gilbert and Joseph, and their fiancées, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Sebastian's parish church, Qormi, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated.

DELICATA. On September 7, at St Luke's Hospital, DANIEL, aged 5, went to meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his parents Steven and Maria, his beloved sisters Greta and Rebecca, his grandparents Margaret and Lino Delicata and Josephine and Victor Gatt, his uncles and aunts David, Chris and Michelle, Joseph and Roseanne, Ruth and Joe and Graziella, his cousins Brendan, Darren, Terrance, Jack and Adam, his great-aunts and great-uncles, Rose and Charles Spiteri, Lily and Michael Attard of Canada and those from the Gatt family, his cousins Dr Veronique Spiteri and Dr Michelle Spiteri and those in Canada, besides other relatives and friends, especially David Agius, whom Daniel was so fond of.
The celebration of Daniel's meeting with the Risen Lord will be held tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. at St Julian's parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Daniel was a joyful and adorable young boy and it is therefore the wish of his parents for all the family and friends not to wear colours of mourning.

Requiem Masses

On the trigesima die of the death of the Noble ANN SAID DEI MARCHESI CASSAR DESAIN, a Mass will be said tomorrow at 7.30 p.m. at St Patrick's church, Sliema. The attendance of relatives and friends will be greatly appreciated. Her brother-in-law Bernard von Brockdorff.
