Obituary

CALLEJA. On September 6, at Capua Palace Hospital, ALFRED of Birkirkara, residing at Sliema, aged 69. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Dorothy née Haber, his children Karl and Ingrid, Dr Anthony Gruppetta, Sue Cassano and Helen Micallef, and his grandchildren Mikiel, Madeleine, Laura and Michelle.
The funeral leaves Capua Palace Hospital today at 2.15 p.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be appreciated. May the Almighty grant him eternal rest.

PACE O'SHEA. On September 6, at St Luke's Hospital, LYDIA née Bartolo, widower of Vincent, aged 73, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Aileen and her husband David Scerri, Angele and her husband Kurt Scerri, Peter and his wife Monica, David and his wife Angela, John, Paul and his wife Louise, her grandchildren Rebecca, Nicky, Ann, Nigel, Tara, Patsy, Neil, Simone, Kami, Fleur, Gilly, Lara, Andrew, Matthew, Nicky and Simon, her brothers Fr Bernard Bartolo, OFM, and Eddie and his wife Elvira, her beloved sister Rose, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment in the family vault at Zabbar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Sisters, St Rita Home, Tarxien, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Terminus Moved

The bus terminus in Marsaxlokk will be moving from its present location in l-Arzell Street to Xatt is-Sajjieda, opposite the convent, as from Monday, the Malta Transport Authority said.

Electoral Register

The closing date for the publication of the forthcoming revision of the Electoral Register due in October is September 30, 2002.

All Maltese citizens aged 18 or over whose name does not appear in the Electoral Register published in April, 2002, and who have not since applied for registration as voters, should do so provided they have the necessary qualifications.

Application forms are obtainable from police stations, local council offices and from the Electoral Office.

Applications may be delivered at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, St Elmo Place, Valletta, or to any police officer in any police station in Malta and Gozo, or forwarded to the Chief Electoral Commissioner free of any postal charge, by September 30, 2002.

Bike Pilgrimage

The annual bike and motorcycle pilgrimage for the feast of Our Lady of Graces in Zabbar will be held on September 15.

Motorcyles will leave Mosta at 9.45 a.m. and bicycles will leave Rabat at the same time, bound for Zabbar, where a prayer meeting will be held.

Car Stolen

A blue 1990 Opel Corsa, registration number ABG-034, was stolen from Paceville on Wednesday. Anyone seeing it should call the owner on tel. 21 580553 or contact the police.
