CILIA. STEFAN of St Julian's, passed away on August 12, aged 27. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his parents Donald and Marie Louise, his sister Denise and her husband Nicky Bonnici, his nieces Analise and Stephanie, his uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. - R. I. P.

Strand Closure
Part of the Strand in Sliema, from Square Deal to Manwel Dimech Street, will be closed to traffic on Friday and Saturday from 7.30 to 11.30 p.m. and on Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 6.30 to 11 p.m., because of the feast of Our Lady of Stella Maris.
Route 91 Extended
Bus route 91 has been extended to cover a new area in Qormi, with immediate effect, the Public Transport Authority said.
Buses leaving the San Gorg terminus in Qormi on the hour between 6 and 11 a.m. will pass through il-Kbira, Anici, il-Vitorja, San Bastjan, 20 ta' Jannar, Amleto Spiteri, Correa and Valletta streets on their way to Valletta.
Power Cable Damaged
Skanska Ltd, the contractors working on the Mater Dei hospital, accidentally damaged an underground power cable last Friday, Enemalta said yesterday.
The service was restored in under an hour by the corporation.
