Obituary
CAUCHI. VINCENZA, aged 87, went to meet the Risen Lord on Sunday, July 21. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Rosalind, Lilian and her husband Joseph Engerer, Isabel and her husband Anthony Polidano, her two sons Godwin and his wife Lina, William and his wife Josanne, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sisters Inez and Rose, other relatives and friends. R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 9 a.m. for the Sacro Cuor parish church in Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30 a.m. followed by interment at the Sta Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza in Siggiewi will be appreciated.
DOUBLESIN. On July 21, at Boffa Hospital, MARGARET née Apap, aged 51, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband George, her daughters Rachel (Sr Lucia of Sta Skolastika Monastery), Sarah, her sisters Marian and her husband Carmel Cachia Caruana, Celia and her husband Bertie Portelli and Tania, her brother-in-law David, her sister-in-law Miriam, and her husband Evan Cumbo, other relatives and friends. R.I.P.
The funeral leaves Boffa Hospital at 1.30 p.m. tomorrow for St Joseph's Parish Church in Msida where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at Sta Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr Gonzi in Siggiewi will be appreciated.
FRENDO. On July 20 at St Luke's Hospital, JOSEPHINE (Jessie), aged 89, of Balzan, widow of Gregory, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sisters Bersabea and her husband Tarcisio Salerno of Canada, Cunegonda, widow of Edgar Diacono, Griselda and her husband Frederick Goodrham of Canada, Leocadia and her husband George Bugeja of Australia, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Balzan parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Balzan cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Siggiewi homes will be appreciated.
VIZZARI DE SANNAZARO. ADELAIDE sive AIDA, née Girard, passed peacefully away, aged 93, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Glorya, widow of Dr George de Giorgio, her grandchildren Anjelica, wife of André Cauchi, Miguel and his wife Diana, and Luana, wife of Joseph Zammit, her beloved great-grandchildren Alba, Ambra, Zachary, Jessica and Dawn, her relatives and most of all her friends at Casa Leone XIII - R.I.P.
The funeral took place privately yesterday. Donations to Casa Leone XIII will be appreciated. Thank you to the administration, nurses and nuns who looked after her in the years she has been with them.

Italian Scholarships
The "Centro Universitario Europeao per I Beni Culturali di Ravello" in Salerno is offering 12-month scholarships for a Master in New Technologies for the Evaluation of the Mediterranean Cultural Heritage for academic year 2002/2003.
