Obituary
AQUILINA. On December 30, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, CARMELO of Sta Venera, aged 83, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons John and his wife Joyce of Australia, and Oscar and his wife Elizabeth, his sister Katarin, widow of Emanuel Corrado, his grandchildren Philip, Rachael, Valentina and Andre, in-laws, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Sta Venera parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
ZAMMIT. On December 28, FRANCIS MARCEL of Hamrun, aged 47, went to meet the Risen Lord. He leaves to mourn his great loss his devoted wife Mary Rose, his daughter Amber Ann, his father Marcel, his mother Marian, his two sisters Carmen and Emily and their families, his father-in-law Francis, all nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 8.15 a.m. for St Cajetan parish church, Hamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Cemetery, Dingli. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.

Postal Service
The last collection from street letter boxes today will be carried out at 11 a.m. and all postal retail outlets in Malta and Gozo will close for business at 12.45 p.m.
However, normal mail delivery will be carried out today, Maltapost said.
On Monday, no mail delivery will be carried out and postal retail outlets will not open for business. Normal service will resume on Tuesday.
Public Transport
Public transport tomorrow will operate from 6 a.m. to noon and from 4 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. from the Valletta terminus to outlying termini and vice-versa.
At 3.30 p.m., route 75 bus will operate to St Luke's Hospital from the various outlying termini (but not from the Valletta terminus).
British High Commission
The offices of the British High Commission, including the visa and passport section and the UKTI trade section, will be closed on Monday.
Passport Office
The Passport Office, in Valletta will be closed to the public today owing to the end-of-year auditing.
Applications for and requests for withdrawal of passports will be accepted only in cases of emergency. In the circumstances one should call on 2122 7809/2122 7813.
