The marriage took place on September 20 at St Aloysius College chapel, Birkirkara, between MATTHEW, son of Mr and Mrs R. Azzopardi of Bugibba, and STEPHANIE ANNE, daughter of Major and Mrs J.M. Mifsud of Sliema. Fr Reuben Micallef, a relative of the groom, celebrated nuptial Mass. The ceremony was witnessed by Mr Michael Sultana, B.Sc. (Hons), SRP, and Mrs Corinne Bowman, B.Pharm., M.Sc. Agric. & Vet Pharm. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Kenneth Bowman, B.Eng. (Hons). Miss Sandra Mifsud, BA, PGCE, the bride's sister, and Miss Tara Azzopardi, the groom's sister, were bridesmaids. Mr David Mifsud, B.Eng. (Hons), and Mr Dennis Mifsud, B.Sc., IT (Hons), brothers of the bride, acted as ushers. A reception was later held at Castello dei Baroni, Wardija. The couple are spending their honeymoon touring Australia.

The marriage took place on October 15 at St John of the Cross parish church, Ta' Xbiex, between KYLE, son of Mr and Mrs John Houghton of San Pawl tat-Targa, and JANINE, daughter of Mr and Mrs Anthony Darmanin of Ta' Xbiex. Fr Edgar Busuttil, SJ, celebrated nuptial Mass. The ceremony was witnessed by Dr Joseph Darmanin and Mr Anthony Miggiani. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Albert Cilia. The bride was attended by her sister, Ms Ylenia Darmanin, the groom's sister, Ms Jade Houghton and Ms Julia Arrigo. Mr Jaime Cremona, Mr David Muscat, Mr Raphael Psaila and Mr Nicholas Psaila-Savona acted as ushers. A reception was later held at Le Meridien Phoenicia Hotel, Floriana. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Mexico and the United States.

The marriage took place on October 9 at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mdina, between CHRISTOPHER, son of Dr and Mrs Victor Zammit of Mosta, and SHARON, daughter of Mr and Mrs John Tanti of Qawra. Fr Jesmond Grech celebrated nuptial Mass. Mr Robert Zammit and Mrs Joanne Azzopardi witnessed the marriage. Dr Mark Ivan Attard and Br Nicholas Felice carried out the duties of best man. The bride was attended by Miss Lorraine Zammit. Master Daniel Galea Medati and Master Neal Azzopardi were pageboys and Miss Rachel Galea Medati and Miss Leanne Marie Axisa were flower-girls. Dr Jacques Diacono and Dr Owen Mifsud were ushers. A reception was later held at Villa Mdina, Naxxar. The couple are spending their honeymoon in South Africa.

The marriage took place on October 8 at the Capuchin church, Floriana, between MARK ANTHONY, son of Mrs Mary Zammit and the late Publius Zammit of Qormi, and KYRA-MARGITA, daughter of Mr and Mrs Bernard Licari of Floriana. Fr Hayden Williams, OFM Cap. celebrated nuptial Mass, assisted by Br Antoine Ebejer, OFM Cap. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Eula Symons and the groom's sister, Mrs Doreen Cilia. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Mario Camilleri. The bride was attended by Miss Kristina Critien, while Master Matthew Goodlip was ring-bearer. The bride's brother, Bernard, who flew over from the United States for the occasion, along with her other brothers Edward and Malcolm, acted as ushers. A reception was later held at Villa Oriana, Buskett.

The marriage took place on October 23, 1955, at St Aloysius College chapel, Birkirkara. Fr Ludovico Schembri officiated the wedding ceremony. Congratulations and best wishes. Obituary

FERRO. On October 21, at St Luke's Hospital, Gerald Henry, MVO, MBE, aged 91, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Antoinette and her husband Louis Joseph Sant Cassia, Edward and his wife Isabel, his grandchildren Henri and Emma, Helena and Veronica, his sister-in-law Mary Leaver, his great friend Rosa Micallef Judge, his nephew, nieces, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

KILLEN. On October 18 in England, ANNE WALLASEY, passed from this life after a stroke, in hospital, with her family around her. Anne Killen had many Maltese friends for many years, particularly in the Bugibba area. Information: Brian Doran 44 51 259 4311.

LUCIE-SMITH. On October 6, in Worthing, West Sussex, England, ELIZABETH MARY, aged 85, daughter of the late Arthur Heskett of Antofagasta, Chile, mother of Angela, Hugh, William, Timothy and Alexander.
Funeral Mass and burial took place on October 14 at St Mary's, Derryswood, Surrey, England.

TROISI. On October 22, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, Frederick, of Hamrun, aged 84, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers Richard and Robert, his nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 8.15 a.m. for Our Lady of Victory parish church, Naxxar, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetry. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.
