Obituary
DINGLI. On August 10, MARY, aged 93, passed peacefully away at St Catherine's Home, Attard, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Deeply mourned by her sisters-in-law Catherine and Kathleen of Australia, nephews and nieces in Malta and Australia, other relatives, the Dominican Sisters and friends. The funeral leaves St Catherine's Home at 2.15 p.m. today for Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m. followed by interment. Lord grant her eternal rest.
RUNZA. On August 6, at Southampton, England, EMMANUEL, aged 84, passed away. He leaves to mourn his loss his son George and Barbara, grandchildren, his brother and sisters, as well as his in-laws. Mass for the repose of his soul will be said on Tuesday at 6.30 p.m. at the new parish church, St Venera.
STIVALA. On August 10, at St Luke's Hospital, CARLO, aged 102, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Deeply mourned by his children Carmelina and Pippo, Tony and Lina, Angelo and Marita, Mary, Giovanna and Jessie, his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Naxxar parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.45 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery, in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to the Holy Family Home, Naxxar will be greatly appreciated.
ZAMMIT. On August 10, at Msida Home, VINCENZA, aged 85, of Hamrun, widow of Gaetano, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Josephine, Gorg, Doris, Tony, Mary, Tessie and their spouses, her brother Anthony and his family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 9 a.m. for St Francis Church, Hamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.15 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

Strummin' for the homeless
Bay Street will host the Strummin' 4 Peace guitarists on Saturday at 8 p.m.
The activity will promote the YCW's forthcoming Strummin' 4 Peace fund-raising concert in aid of Suret il-Bniedem Foundation, which will be held at the Ta' Qali Greek theatre on August 27. Suret il-Bniedem runs two shelters for the homeless.
This is one of a series of activities by the YCW marking its 60th anniversary.
Funds collected at the activity being held at Bay Street's Rotunda will be in aid of Suret il-Bniedem.
Sub-post offices
The sub-post offices at Rose Bazaar, St Mary Street, Ghaxaq, will be closed between August 18 and 31 and that at Fleet Stationers, Testaferrata Street, Msida from tomorrow till Tuesday.
The public can use the services at the Zejtun branch post office in St Lucian Street and at the Gzira branch in Meme Scicluna Square.
Maltese music
The University Gozo Centre will be holding its annual summer activity An Evening Of Traditional Maltese Music... And Beyond with Nafra at the university premises on Saturday at 8 p.m.
Nafra is an ensemble playing traditional Maltese instruments.
The entrance fee is Lm2.50.
