Obituary
ZARB. On July 17, at St Luke's Hospital, CARMELO, born in Ghajn Tuffieha and residing in Naxxar, former owner of Zarb Garage, aged 73, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Antonia, his children Carmen and her husband Philip Busuttil, Manwel and his wife Maris, Catherine and her husband John Casapinta and Joseph and his wife Jude Marie, his grandchildren Luana, Keith, Fredrick, Shaun, Ann Marie and Ursula, his brothers and sisters, their families, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital today at 4.30 p.m. for Mass praesente cadavere at Maria Bambina parish church, Naxxar, followed by interment in the family vault at Naxxar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza in Siggiewi will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

Course in Baroque Architecture
The International Institute for Baroque Architecture Studies of the University of Malta, in conjunction with the Works Division at the Ministry for Resources and Infrastructure, is organising a one-year part-time pre-tertiary certificate course in Baroque Architecture starting in October.
The course is designed to provide an understanding of materials and construction techniques adopted in Baroque buildings and encourage the use of suitable materials and good craftsmanship in their restoration.
The Works Division is offering a limited number of places for individuals interested in pursuing the course. Participants will be required to attend theoretical and practical sessions at the University of Malta for seven to 10 hours per week.
Applications will be received by the University between Wednesday and July 25. A one-time registration fee of Lm150 will apply for applicants not employed with the Works Division.
