Obituary

AYLING. On March 6, MARY, widow of Paul, aged 81. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmen, widow of Joe Galea, Veronica and her husband Vincent Zahra, Censina and her husband George Ellul of Canada, Herbert and his wife Nancy, her brothers Dominic and his wife Jane, Twanny and his wife Lucy, her sisters Dirrie, widow of Joseph Zammit and Annie, widow of Joe Foggett Williams, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow for Fgura parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

CARUANA. On March 6, suddenly at St James Hospital, Zabbar, EVELYN (Vivie), née Scicluna, widow of Nicholas, aged 81, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her daughters Rosella and Inez and her husband Donald Cassar, her grandchildren Gabriella and Sarah, her sister Maria, her brothers Edgar, Edwin and his wife Rose, her husband's late sister Cettina, widow of Professor Henry Micallef, Susanna, widow of her brother Carmelo, Maria, widow of her brother Joe, and Maria Stella, widow of her brother Dr Salvino Scicluna, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St James Hospital tomorrow at 2 p.m. for Maria Annunziata parish church, Tarxien where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family vault at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request by donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

ELLUL. On March 5, CHRISSIE, aged 58, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is deeply mourned and greatly missed by her husband Mario, her mother Bradey, her sisters Mary, Bridgette and her husband George, her brother Martin and his wife Janette, her father-in-law Joseph, her brothers-in-law Tony, Victor, Joseph, Aldo and their respective wives, her sister-in-law Anna, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends. - R.I.P.
Mass will be said today at 4.30 p.m. at the Millennium Chapel, Paceville. The funeral will be held in London later this week. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks go to the professor, consultants and staff of St Luke's Hospital. MUSCAT FENECH. On March 5, at St Luke's Hospital, EVELYN, aged 84, of Floriana, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Denise and her husband Michael Sincik (US), Anna Maria and Alexandra, her grand-children Dawn and David, her great-grandchildren Bradley, Corinne, Anna Marie, and her brothers Edward and Francis of Australia, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P.

ZAHRA. On March 6, at St Luke's Hospital, FRANCESCA, wife of the late Carmelo, at the venerable age of 99, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is deeply mourned and missed by her children Rita, wife of the late Joseph Schembri, Salvu and his wife Tessie and Mary, wife of the late Alfred Gauci, her seven grandchildren, and her 14 great-grand- children, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St Luke's Hospital tomorrow at 3.30 p.m. for Lija parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 4 p.m. followed by interment at Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord grant her eternal rest.

ZAMMIT. On March 2, JULIAN, passed away suddenly at the age of 44. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maria née Galea Testaferrata, his daughter Julia, his mother Maria, widow of the late Franz Zammit, his brother Gerald and his wife Caroline, his father-in-law Mario Galea Testaferrata, Rita Tabone, his in-laws Camille and her husband Jimmy, James and his wife Ann, Simon and his wife Filippa, his nephews and nieces Matthew and Amanda, Andrew, Rose and Nicholas, Emilia and Paul, his uncles and aunts, his cousins, relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves St James Capua Hospital, Sliema today at 2.15 p.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, St Julians, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Cini Institute, St Venera will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord grant him eternal rest.

Tomorrow being the trigesima die of HELENA ZARB who passed away on February 6 last, a Mass for the repose of her soul will be said tomorrow at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes chapel, Capuchins Friary, Floriana.
