Obituary

AZZOPARDI. On February 19, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, AGNES, aged 63, passed peacefully away. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Louis, her children Josianne and her husband Reinhard Lenicker, Maria and her husband Joseph Casapinta and Adrian and his fiancée Irene Sciberras, her grandchildren Michela, Petra, Luca and Hugh, her brothers and sisters, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Sir Paul Boffa Hospital tomorrow for Mosta parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. ELLUL-MICALLEF. On February 19, at St Luke's Hospital, CHARLES, aged 85, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his deep loss his wife Connie, his children Roger and his wife Patricia, Margaret and her husband Alfred Pace, and Isabelle and her husband Tonio Azzopardi, his beloved grandchildren Gabriella, Adrian and his fiancée Golda, Robert and Michelle, in-laws, other relatives and friends. - R.I.P. Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9 a.m. at Attard parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GIORDANO. On February 18, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, USA, Sr ERMINIA (Jane), daughter of the late Saviour and Theresa of Birkirkara, aged 61, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her siblings Carmen and her husband Alfred Sharples, Helen and her husband Paul Bezzina, Mary and her husband John Falzon, who reside in Australia, Laurence and his wife Joyce, Joseph and his wife Jennifer, Manuel and his wife Costantina, Bice and her husband Dominic Mizzi, nephews and nieces, her uncle Fr Cyril Borg, OCD, cousins, among them Fr Redent Azzopardi, OCD, and Fr Mario Borg, OCD, her fellow sisters of the Franciscan Missionary of the Immaculate Heart of Mary community in New Jersey and Malta, other relatives and numerous friends in Malta and USA. - R.I.P The funeral will be held in the USA. MARTIN. On February 19, Sister GEORGINA, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Sisters, Daughters of the Sacred Heart, her sisters Emma and Pauline, nephews and nieces and other relatives. The funeral will be held today at 9 a.m. at the convent chapel in Notabile Road, Fleur-de-Lys.

On the first anniversary of the demise of LILIAN MAGRI OVEREND, a Mass for the repose of her soul will be said next Tuesday, February 22 at 6.30 p.m. at Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema. The attendance of relatives and friends will be greatly appreciated.

A Mass for the repose of LEONILDA SERRACINO-INGLOTT, on the 28th anniversary of her death, will be celebrated today at 9.45 a.m. at Ta' l-Ibrag parish church. A prayer is solicited.

On the trigesima die of the death of PAULINE (Polly) ZAMMIT, the 6.30 p.m. Mass said on February 22 at St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of her soul. The attendance of relatives and friends will be greatly appreciated.

Study Morning
