Companies owe €55.9m in NI contributions

The government is owed €55,944,961 in arrears of national insurance by companies, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech has revealed in Parliament. The total number of companies in arrears is 5,612, with 514 of the companies in arrears since 1998.
