The Society of Architecture and Civil Engineering Students is a non-profit-making student organisation, representing the students from the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering. The society was set up approximately 30 years ago by a group of students in the faculty at the time with the aim of defending the students' rights. Over the years the role of the society has changed and developed to cover a good number of activities for the students each year.
The aim of the society is not only to provide services for all the students and represent them, but also to organise activities to give them on-hand experience and help them get to know each other better by working more together.
Activities such as the workshop, designs and sand sculptures are the largest events on the yearly agenda where students get the opportunity to take their talents outside the university. Further information could be accessed at www.sacesmalta.org/.
